Apostolic Work Society - Rathkenny Branch

Founded in 1998 by Ann Gogarty and Bridie Doggett, the Apostolic Society makes and sews vestments, altar cloths, and linens for world missionaries.  They also raise funds for the purchase of Mass kits, silverware, candlesticks etc., for these missionaries.

Meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of each month in the Parochial Centre.

Apostolic Presentation

Rathkenny Branch of the Apostolic Society attended a mass on May 29th 2009, in Navan, where Bishop Smith presented some members with medals for their 50 year service.  Congratulations and well done to the members for all their hard work over the years.

Apostolic Work Societies Annual Display was held in the Community Centre, Navan, on Sunday 26th October 2008.  Rathkenny Branch of the Society were present with a fine display of their works.  Photos of the event below:
