PRAYER CARD

Lord, as a member of the parish prayer ministry,
I set aside this short time of prayer for the benefit of our parish.

I put aside all my own needs
and unite myself to the prayer of the other members of our prayer ministry.

We intercede with one voice for the needs of the parish,
as expressed this month by our parish priest,
and affirm that You, Lord, are the light of our parish
and worthy of the highest praise . . .

1)

I believe in God,
the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell,
the third day He arose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God,
the Father Almighty,
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy, catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

2)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen
