Presentation to the St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas 2007 The school donated 3 huge hampers to St. Vincent de Paul again this Christmas. We see it as very important in our pupils education to develop a social conscience and to help others that are less well off. Presentation to the St Vincent de Paul Society Christmas 2006
Pupils, as part of their preparation for Christmas, bought non-perishable food from their own pocket money and made large food hampers which they donated to the St. Vincent De Paul. A cash donation, the proceeds of a Christmas carol service, featuring Rathkenny school and Rathkenny parish choir, was also presented. Pictured above are pupils from our school with Ciaran McKeever (St. V De P). PRESENTATION TO CHARITIES JUNE 2007. St. Louis N.S. Rathkenny - pupils from Confirmation Classes 2007 - donated part of their Confirmation money to various charities. A sum of €300 was raised and sent to three charities: Chernobyl Children's Projects, Crumlin Children's Hospital and the Alan Kerins Project.
