Coming in to the presence of the Lord in the Eucharist is like being irradiated with the rays of the sun. . . our intercession before the Blessed Sacrament is above all a presence, our presence to His presence, like a plant in the sun drawing energy to grow and bear fruit. . . a time is coming when the Church and the world will be renewed and we will be a Eucharistic people. I think this means that Jesus in the Eucharist will be the focal point of our lives, that our gatherings, our worship and intercessions will centre on His Eucharistic presence among us.
