Information
St. Simon usually appears 11th in the list of Apostles. He has been surnamed "The Cananite" and "The Zealot". The Zealots were an anti-Roman party. St. Simon probably preached in Egypt and Persia. He was martyred in the 1st century.
St. Jude was the brother of St. James the Less and a relative of Jesus. He is the author of an epistle to the Eastern Churches. St. Jude probably preached in Palestine and Persia. He was martyred in the 1st century. He is the Patron Saint of desperate situations and hospitals.
